i knew i saw this pic somewhere else first! the source i saw it on doesn’t say if this daisy is actually from japan or not, but it explains the mutation that causes this kind of appearance——it’s called “fasciation”, and is a fairly normal mutation caused by “hormonal, genetic, bacterial, fungal, viral, and environmental” elements. wiki does say that exposure to chemicals can trigger this mutation, i wish that the OP would’ve put a source link more clearly in this post cause i have my doubts that this is actually a result of the fukushima disaster——-

In around 4 billion years our galaxy, The Milky Way, will collide with our neighbor galaxy Andromeda or M31. You might think this will be a catastrophic event for everything in the galaxy including our solar system but in reality most of the solar systems will simply pass by each other. However, given the new galactic center and the new mass pulling everything towards it and tossing it around, the orbits of those solar systems will be changed.

The massive Andromeda galaxy is about 120,000 light years across while our galaxy is 100,000 light years across. Given their size, the speed that we our hurdling towards each other is relatively small at 250,000 miles per hour.

Ammonium nitrate, a primary ingredient in synthetic fertilizers, isn’t itself very explosive. Accidents involving it are actually pretty rare, although incidents like the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing in 1995 have given it quite a reputation. However, like anything, it’s the dose that makes the poison.

When it burns, it creates its own oxygen, which can lead to a runaway fire. In those runaway fires, the chemical can bind together from pellets into a massive plug, allowing it to trap huge amounts of hot gases beneath the weight of burning material. You can guess what happens when hot gases build up with no place to go.

The bacteria responsible for avian botulism require a warm, anaerobic (i.e. oxygen-free) environment to grow, such as inside a rotting corpse or inside the digestive tract of insects that eat rotting meat. The surface of decomposing bread is not such an environment.

As for angel wing, it is a relatively rare condition which primarily affects geese, not ducks. It is not caused by bread; it is caused by waterfowl in temperate climates being fed a high protein, high calorie diet which gives them too much nutrition and causes them to grow abnormally fast. This fast growth causes a chronic weight overload on the bird’s wings, which twists the wrist joint out of its proper position — this is reversible in young birds, but becomes permanent if left untreated.

There’s a difference between facts, and “facts.” If you see a something that seems like a fact, but tries to appeal to your emotions, it isn’t a fact.
